Handmade stoneware mug with sgrafitto carved design featuring California poppies. Surprise drawing on the bottom. Holds approximately 16 ounces with room for cream and sugar. Glazed with a rustic red that offsets the black and tan drawn portion on the bottom part of the mug. Bottom portion on outside is raw clay which contrasts with the smooth glaze for a truly handmade feel.
