This is excerpted from one of those email chain letters I got from my daughter. You can send me some questions if you want but I’m afraid my answers are a bit on the boring side.


What is your favorite color?

Green Green Green. I am in love with all the different greens of nature. Both warm and cool.

What is your favorite drink?

I usually drink lemon water but for special occasions anything that comes with an umbrella or has cranberry juice in it.

What is your favorite movie?

Cinema Paradisio. The end where all the movie clips are spliced together is priceless. Soooo many others could make this list. I used to be a movie junkie.

What is your best time of day?

I like it from 11:00 pm to midnight. It’s quiet in the house everyone else is asleep and I usually have Tilly my cat on my lap and a good book to read.

What is your favorite smell?

My kids hair after they’ve gotten out of the tub. Or anything baking in the oven.

If you had a chance to meet anyone in the world who would it be? Living or Dead?

Famous doesn’t really interest me but I would love to chat with my Gram Pirie once more now that I am an adult and have kids. I’d like to introduce her to my kids and husband and catch up on lots of things. She was my childhood penpal.

What book are you currently reading?

Look Me in The Eye --- an autobiography of a man with Asperger's Syndrome

What are you wearing on your feet?

A pair of purple fuzzy slippers sit under my desk but I’m barefoot sitting cross legged.

What is the one item you’d want to have with you on a deserted island?

My initial thought would be a roof to protect me from the elements, but that is something I could always make so I’d really like a companion.

What is your most embarrassing moment?

Please let’s not re-live that one.

What is your favorite animal?

Polar Bears. Did you really need to ask?

What is on your iPod?

An eclectic mix of pop, rock, folk, jazz and classical. Nothing rap or hip hop
